Gwynevere took to delivering mail like a Meowth took to stealing shiny trinkets. She was quite a sight to behold as well, parting stormy rain clouds (CLOUD NINE) to emerge from the sunlight beyond like an angel from the heavens. If not for the harness and accompanying mail bag, her ethereal presence could have convincingly passed her off as one.[break][break]

Filling the sky with a beautiful aria (SING), the cloud-like dragon soared from residence to residence swiftly, brimming with delight the entire way. The ambassador that rode upon her back, on the other hand, was indifferent as he helped her sort the mail and place them each in their respective mailbox.[break][break]

He didn't necessarily care for being a postman. But at least it got him out of the office for a day. And, at one point, he even got to cross paths with angelo vestri.[break][break]

"You look a little flushed, Ange," He remarks. "Did you remember to bring sunscreen?"[break]

Yui was looking to get some more experience for her Pokémon, she heard recently that there was a lot of random weather causing some trouble for people who were trying to deliver mail. She remembered that the drampa she recently caught in her safari exploration had the ability cloud nine which normalized weather for a certain area! Perfect! It was a rare ability so Yui took this as a chance to help where she could. She put a small little headset that was sized for Drampa and a GPS chip on it to guide it and a camera on it's head. She activated the software and got to work with Drampa. [break][break]

Drampa used extrasensory in combination with it's ability cloud nine to remove all the negative weather effects that would stop it from being able to do it's job correctly. After some time passed drampa managed to finally deliver all of the packages to their proper locations. Afterwards Drampa landed on Yui's balcony where she then patted him on the head and hugged him "Good job drampa, you did great out there. I'm sure everyone's very happy with you." she said as she handed him some berries as a reward for his efforts.

It was time for Blue to give these clouds a clue as the Swablu rocketed through the skies in order to deliver mail. Hopefully when the deliveree got their letter, wondered where it was from, and then got their answer, they would just want to wail. Blue couldn't wait to see all of those happy, smiling faces from all of the Steves and Joes, before returning to her Trainer, Josh.

The skies were blue and so was Swablu. Hopefully it would remain as such for the day.

Lilith likes these kinds of job as it is more leisure and rest than more actual work. Pacifidlog Post has found a spot for pokemons like her to loiter around as they exert a little effort (CLOUD NINE) in keeping the weather still for the mailers to function properly.

She watches the other trainers and pokemons do more of than they have to, but seeing how Valerio can be found sitting by the docks, chest glistening from the morning sun while comfortable sipping on a pinap juice, she realizes she doesn't even have to.

As long as she does what she has been always doing, nothing can go wrong.

Given the way Pacifidlog is structured, the Pokemon has no choice but to go from hut to hut, knocking on the door with the tip of it tongue. Those that open up are given a letter, one picked out from a knapsack hoisted over the Pokemon's shoulder. Unfortunately, it cannot read, so it relies on the honor system as residents pick out their mail from the predetermined route.

Water sloshes as the Pokemon continues down the floating pathway. Above, the skies remain clear as day, leaving the Pokemon on CLOUD NINE as it gets the chance to enjoy its slice of life adventure.

The elements wouldn’t get in the way of this duo – no, this was their element. Delivery an old constant. [break][break]

While Angelo takes to walking along the connected bridges, weathered planks groaning beneath his shoes, Cygnus travels the ocean to reach the floating homes that were independent of the maze. They work quickly, both having worked this route on occasion, Angelo’s footsteps confident as he flits from home to home with their parcels and letters securely wrapped for transit – well prepared for the water town. [break][break]

Cygnus, thanks to CLOUD NINE, swims without issue even with his satchel balanced on his back; wrapped up in waterproof material as he glides through the sea to deliver his own envelopes from home to home. Not like he needs the added protection for the fragile paper, there’s not a cloud in the sky and the Golduck is the calm sort, pushing through the ocean like its water off a… ducks back. Keeping his responsibility nice and dry. [break][break]

It’s a successful day and although Angelo stops from time to time to chat to some recipients that he’s engaged in small talk before on past routes, his bag of letters quickly begins to lighten.[break][break]

He’s walking towards his last stop of the day when a familiar sight makes itself known in the sky – Remiel Calcifet calling down to him from atop an Altaria. A laugh is carried up towards the Galarian on the breeze. “Funny. I was just thinking that you're looking thirsty up there, buddy.” He calls up, words mischievously threatening. “Sure you don’t need a nice, cold drink?”

Thankfully for Remiel, Cygnus was not the type to indulge in his trainers antics, otherwise a water pulse would have surely been fired towards the royal's face.

Crystal the Psyduck was having a lovely day. Or at least, as much as they could with their mind-bending headaches. Still, people seemed to be giving them little bits of crackers and Pokeblocks after they delivered the mail, waddling from building to building across the rafts, and the food certainly made up for the trouble.

With a little quack, they hopped right back into the water, ever so carefully balancing a large package atop their head as they swam across the surface of the water. This package absolutely could not get wet, but then again Crystal wasn't the brightest. The straight-line there was no doubt the best path to take every time.

Either way, it managed to arrive with minimal dampness, only the occasional splashing of the waves had brushed against it a bit. Still, as Crystal delivered it, they let out another satisfied quack with a look to the skies. They were awfully lucky it was a dry day, otherwise, these packages would have been soaked! Lucky indeed. Completely ignorant of her own ability CLOUD NINE, Crystal just happily bounced into the water again to keep waddling their merry way.

    It was Paul's first day as a professional cloud-ologist, and it was shaping up to be his last. Which was a shame, because he loved the work.
    He'd sent the rainclouds back out to sea, just as instructed, and everything had been sunny and wonderful!
It was a sterling effort. Unparalleled in the history of the postal service. Paul deserved recognition. A promotion! A medal! No, a nap!
But behind every well-earned nap lurk the dark clouds of, well, rain. Paul had been having an extremely scrumptious dream about chasing Patrat when he'd been woken up by the gentle, rhythmic cadence of people shouting at him to get back to work. He had slept right through the storm, actually, and was completely soaked. Every inch of him was as sodden as a Krabby's backside.
    But Paul knuckled down, bit the bullet, put his nose to the grindstone, and within minutes he was back on the express train to snooze town, population Paul, and with an estimated travel time of 'until the end of the day'. Zzzzz
